Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common and compulsory umbrella examination for the admission to all postgraduate Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). SNAP is conducted in 90 cities of India, annually. A candidate has to choose one city as his/her center for the examination, from the list of cities provided for the purpose.
However, SNAP is only the first step by which candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the test. Shortlisted candidates then have to undergo the selection process (e.g Group Discussion & Personal Interview) of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Postgraduate programmes of that Institute.
Examination Pattern
SNAP is an examination consisting of 3 sections General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning. There is no sectional time therefore students have enough time to solve questions within 120 minutes. The question paper consists of 110 questions in MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and non-MCQs. There is a penalty for every wrong answer.
